Our first night in Amiens, we were just looking for somewhere casual, it was a random Monday in September where the weather was still quite nice. We saw this place on Google and it seemed to do the sort of pub food we like and was casual, not a formal 3 course brasserie. We didnt have a reservation but got a seat outside, one of the last tables, it was really busy as the weather was so nice. Good beer selection, pricey Guinness but it isnt a common drink there i suppose, and a good menu selection of what you'd expext for pub food in the area - burgers, flams, Welshes, fish and chips, chicken, stekas etc, and not overly expensive, the prices felt right. The gentleman serving us was very nice and patient with our bad French! The menu was also only in French but if you have some basic language skills, it's all pretty easy to figure out, or of course just run it through your phones translator! I dropped to 4* because of the slowish service - there seemed to be only 3 staff working and it was really busy, pretty much all tables outside were full, I guess as the weather was so nice, but it took a while to get the servers attention. The staff were very nice though! But they defo needed a couple of extra hands. Would recommend and go back!

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken (happy hour, cocktails en 50 cl bier voor 5 euro. gezellig terras midden in de mooie stad Amiens.

Personnel aussi efficace que souriant. Le tout, avec un très beau cadre extérieur.
